Get to know Hailey Ashbee
Hailey Ashbee joined the Kam’s team as a Technical Sales Representative in January 2021. She services the Niagara area, with a special focus on floriculture and nursery production.
Hailey has been fascinated by the natural world, and especially insects, from the very beginning. This interest, combined with a passion for learning and research, led her to study entomology and complete her Master of Environmental Science at the University of Guelph. After graduating, she applied her expertise in the horticultural world through integrated pest management.
Hailey has worked in both small retail and large wholesale greenhouses in Niagara, and she draws on this experience to tailor her services to the needs of each individual customer. Hailey acknowledges that growing is a dynamic and fast-paced environment where issues are rarely black and white. She approaches situations with an open mind and is well-versed in both biological and conventional control strategies. Hailey knows the key to a successful growing season is to be proactive. Her thorough strategy review once your crop is out the door ensures improvement year over year.
